What is the difference in a regular lamp and a twister lamp? A twister lamp has a spiral in the glass instead of a smooth surface. This creates a larger surface area and more total UV. The net effect is you get more total UV than with a regular lamp. Although the Pro Twister is rated at 6.5% UVB, the net output is higher than other 6.5% lamps.
