Official Lamp Warranty and Return Policy

Our goal is provide you with the best quality tanning lamps at the lowest prices.   To further this goal, we have developed these policies that cover any potential problem you may come across.  Your input or suggestions are always welcome.   These policies cover all lamp purchases from UVA SunSystems, Inc. either over the phone or from one of our websites.

30 Day Manufacturer's Warranty
All tanning lamps are guaranteed against failure (no light) for 30 days from the date of purchase or delivery. This does not include physical damage, abuse, modification, wrong size purchased or shipping damage. Shipping damage is automatically covered under a seperate policy if claims are made within 3 days of receiving the damaged goods.  To make a claim, contact us at 1-800-274-1744 within 30 days of receiving your tanning lamps for instructions on returning your lamps.  If the lamps are shown to be defective and covered within the policies herein, we will replace them with the same brand, model and size at no cost to the customer.

Non-defective Return Policy
Unused lamps that are in their original packaging can be exchanged within 30 days of purchase if the lamps purchased were the wrong size, wattage or compatibility. All transporation costs will be the responsibility of the customer. A restocking fee of 15% to 25% of the purchase price may be charged for non-defective returns. Tanning lamps and bulbs are non-returnable once used or opened if non-defective.

Tanning Lamp Performance Guarantee
Every tanning lamp we sell is guaranteed to perform according to the original specifications filed with the FDA, plus or minus 10%, for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase or delivery. In the event you want to make a performance based claim, this policy is your sole relief.  This Performance Guarantee isn't designed to compare one lamp to another, and is based on only on a lamps conformity to it's original specifications.

To make a claim, you must first call us for authorization within 30 days of receiving your lamps at 1-800-274-1744, commercial lamps department. Claims can not be made after this time under any circumstance. Once you have authorization, ship the lamps back to either our main office or testing facility (you will be given an address when you call). We will then forward the lamps to our testing facility and perform full spectrum testing on the lamps.

1.  If the lamps are found to conform to the original specification (plus or minus 10%), we will ship the lamps back to the customer and they will be billed all transporation costs, plus a nominal fee for testing.

2.  If the lamps are found to be out of specification, we will replace the lamps with the exact same brand, size and model from a different batch, at no cost to the customer.

Size, Compatibility and Wattage
We will ship the size and wattage requested by the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect and insure the lamp is the correct size and wattage for their tanning bed, and that the lamp is legally compatible in their state (for salon customers). We are not responsible for damage to the lamps caused by using the wrong wattage, or for legal compliance with any state or local laws, under any circumstances. We can not accept any returns of lamps that have been used in a tanning bed rated for a different wattage than the stated wattage on the lamp.

Answers to Common Issues with Lamp Performance



Worried about lamp breakage? We have you covered.

In the event of damage during shipping, we will replace or refund the damaged lamps. Please accept the shipment, note the damage to the carrier, and call us. Fortunately, damage is rare, but we have you covered regardless. Just call us during normal business hours, east coast time, at 1-800-274-1744. You will NOT have to file any paperwork with the carrier or deal with them at all. We handle everything, and can usually fix the issue on your first phone call to us.

We now have a minimum purchase of 14 lamps. If the website isn't allowing you to mix and match properly, just call us at 1-800-274-1744 to place your order.
